Current Need

As McKesson moves to leverage indirect procurement on a corporate wide scale, strategic sourcing and category management are a critical dependency of a successful Corporate Procurement Organization. The Sourcing Analyst will provide tactical support to the Sourcing Managers and the Sourcing Director in a vertical team structure. This support will include, but not be limited to; spend/financial analysis, report development and publishing, administration of the vendor score-carding process, RFX project management, sourcing team presentation documents, category requirements gathering, assistance with program implementations, and invoice administration.

Position Description

- Actively manage category-specific, pre-sourcing activities (e.g., spend analysis, cost/benefit analysis, inventory validation, number of vendors) and business requirements gathering with Stakeholders -
- Facilitate and provide project management support to the RFX process
- Participate in the development of sourcing strategies and business cases
- Standardize existing processes of data collection, analysis, and data management to improve sourcing efficiency
- Develop, maintain, and perform monthly inputs to savings and compliance models
- Develop and publish periodic reports; spend and compliance, accruals, etc.
- Assist with category roll-out/implementation across multiple BU sites
- Perform invoice administration and audits
- Attend Supplier Diversity events and company sponsored conferences
- Conduct internal customer satisfaction and vendor performance surveys
- Administer the vendor score-carding process
- Assist with General Ledger spend reclassifications as required
- Support the PMO in organizing and maintaining the departmental SharePoint site for dedicated functional categories

Minimum Requirements

- Two years minimum of analytical or supply chain experience
- Project/time management experience preferred

- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and take direction from multiple sources
- Motivated self-starter with desire to take initiative
- Mastery in MSOffice tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to manage/prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to work with remote team members and stakeholders in multiple locations
- Experience with eSourcing tools a plus
