Application Support Analyst

Current Need
McKessons Enterprise Intelligence group is looking for Support Analysts for its Performance Analytics solutions. This is a customer service role where you will be responding to questions from customers who are using our software. Primary responsibilities include: analyzing log files, error messages and data results, searching a knowledgebase for possible answers or workarounds, and troubleshooting and diagnosing error conditions to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective actions.
This is an entry level position.
Position Description
Responsible for responding to product application support questions from customers regarding the companys software. Analyzes problems with software applications to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action. Recommends solutions to customer application questions. May utilize specialized domain expertise related to the specific application of the software to resolve customer problems.
Minimum Requirements
4 year college degree with study or concentration in one of the following areas:
Healthcare, public health or nursing informatics
Computer Science, Decision Science, IT
Finance, Accounting, Statistics Related fields also considered
Additional Knowledge & Skills
-Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to multi-task
-Able to work in a team environment
-Familiarity with computer systems, scripting tools or relational data
-Familiarity with databases and operating systems, including MS SQL Server, Windows OS, Oracle and Linux.
-Interest in problem solving, research and planning.
Education
BS degree or equivalent experience.
