Position Description

McKesson's Revenue Management Solutions division has an opening in Houston, TX for a Data Managment Analyst.

This position provides reporting services for large and varied client base of McKesson's Revenue Management Solutions. This will include daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports comprised of key performance metrics as well as monitoring and analysis of charges, payments, adjustments, accounts receivable and other data elements.

Position is also responsible for the in-depth analysis of a client's challenges. This will include, but not limited to cash flow forecasting, AR trending, and or variance & change percentages. A person in this position should make recommendations as to how to increase productivity, improve upon existing processes, and streamline report offerings. Position is also responsible for auditing current workflows.

This position also requires project management for various initiatives within the Houston office from scoping, planning, initiating, executing, and closing projects.

Minimum Requirements

2 + years of experience with reporting and data analysis is required.

Position Description

Supports Enterprise Data Governance organization through data mining/analysis for McKesson customer, item, and vendor master data. Provides accurate, timely and actionable data intelligence for Enterprise Data Governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct stakeholder analysis routinely

Gather and respond to governance issues, and meet with the business to understand user needs and technical feasibility

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

Initiate, implement, and maintain data governance metrics

Track, monitor, and publish data governance scorecards

Design and initiate process improvement opportunities

Work with Data Owners and Data Stewards to facilitate the issue resolution process

Minimum Requirements

3 -5 years data governance/management experience. Thorough knowledge of data governance and/or management policies, procedures and systems, excellent organizational skills, communication skills, data analysis, process improvement, and project management experience. Intermediate knowledge of the distribution industry and McKessons business model preferred but not required.

Experience with SAP or similar software preferred. Preferred Six Sigma process improvement experience (Greenbelt/Blackbelt training)
