Current Need

We are seeking an experienced Compliance & Ethics healthcare compliance generalist who is capable of being deployed on diverse, challenging projects to support the program in its second year of development. This position reports directly to the Compliance & Ethics Officer for McKesson Provider Technologies (MPT) and is accountable for assisting in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of an effective compliance and ethics program for MPT, a diversified portfolio of business healthcare technology segments.

Minimum Requirements

- 8+ years experience managing a Compliance & Ethics program

- More than 3 years experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or biotech experience desirable

- Experience with anti-kickback, government contracting, data privacy, FDA regulations, and global corruption risks is highly desirable

- Proven experience in monitoring and assessing compliance through formal and informal risk assessment processes, identifying gaps and recommending and implementing compliance solutions

- Proven experience leading and managing complex internal investigations

- Proven experience in using various systems and databases to conduct research and generate reports (e.g. Ethics line, risk management tracking, and case management)

The Director of Compliance & Ethics will be assigned responsibility for a substantial area of the business and/or an assigned series of complex business processes, and is responsible for developing programs, administering training, investigating, evaluating and reporting on issues, risk assessment, and providing guidance to managers and employees on matters relating to ethics and legal compliance. This position is responsible for ensuring effective remediation of non-compliant situations within its assigned areas, through the re-design of processes and testing of their effectiveness. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the assigned business area(s) and an in-depth knowledge of the legislation, regulations, compliance policies and standards that apply to it. Working closely with peer level operational management, the Director will provide advice on the interpretation and implementation of compliance policies and evaluate the compliance implications of planned business activities.

This position will also serve as a MPT liaison to enterprise-wide Global Compliance initiatives and working groups on areas such as Investigations, Conflicts of Interest Certification, Anti-Corruption Program, Integrity Survey, and Code of Conduct.

McKesson is looking for a Director of Regulatory Affairs in our new Ruther Glen Distribution Center. This role will be responsible for compliance to all state and federal regulations mandated by State Boards of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA, Dept. of Transportation, FAA, EPA and OHSA (related to hazardous material handling).

Provide guidance and consultation to regional management (SVP, VPDO), DC management (VPGM, DCM, VPS) on regulatory issues. Manage and maintain relationships with officials representing various regulatory agencies that have jurisdiction over DC¿s in the regions. Conduct DC audits, site visits and training to improve regulatory compliance at DC level. Conduct site visits and due diligence inspections of customer sites as required to ensure against drug diversion. Assist Distribution Centers.

Current Need

McKesson is looking for a Director of Regulatory Affairs to support our Southern Region Distribution Centers. The person in this role can sit in Carrollton or Conroe, TX or Memphis, TN. This role will be responsible for compliance to all state and federal regulations mandated by State Boards of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA, Dept. of Transportation, FAA, EPA and OHSA (related to hazardous material handling).

Provide guidance and consultation to regional management (SVP, VPDO), DC management (VPGM, DCM, VPS) on regulatory issues. Manage and maintain relationships with officials representing various regulatory agencies that have jurisdiction over DC's in the regions. Conduct DC audits, site visits and training to improve regulatory compliance at DC level. Conduct site visits and due diligence inspections of customer sites as required to ensure against drug diversion. Assist Distribution Centers.

Position Description

Key Responsibilities:

Licensing

- Ensure distribution centers are properly licensed by State Board of Pharmacy for states to which the DC's ship.

- Coordinate VAWD certification for DC's in their region.

- Ensure all DC controlled substance licenses are current.

Controlled Substance Management

- Manage company DEA compliance policy.

- Review and analyze controlled substance sales of DC's to identify potential diversion and excessive purchases.

- Responsible for establishing controlled substance thresholds for customers in the region.

- Reviews blocked controlled substance orders having the authority to release the order or conduct further review.

- Conduct site inspections of new customers and customers requiring due diligence.

- Maintain awareness and training for DC management and staff regarding the handling and documentation of controlled substance transactions.

Pedigree

- Ensure compliance with any State or Federal pedigree regulations.

- Conduct regular audits of transactions to validate compliance.

Hazardous Materials

- Provide oversight and expertise relative to the handling, storage, and shipping of hazardous materials.

- Ensure compliance of DOT and FAA regulations related to the packaging and shipping of hazardous materials.

General

- Assist Distribution Centers and Pharma business to manage, negotiate and respond to governmental inspections and any resulting violations, punitive actions or monetary fines.

- Provides input and, where required, sworn testimony to legislative and regulatory bodies developing solutions or regulations on issues of public interest that impact pharmaceutical distribution, e.g. Secure pharmaceutical supply chain.

Minimum Requirements

10+ years of related experience. Desired backgrounds may incude healthcare, medicare, pharmaceuticals, biologics manufacturing, or law enforcement and investigations.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

- Multiple years experience in working management positions, responsible for regulatory compliance, in the pharmaceutical/industry.

Position Description

The eDiscovery Advisor will assist the McKesson Litigation Group in the performance of electronic discovery processes and tasks in support of litigation and anticipated litigation matters, internal and government investigations, and subpoenas. This position will be responsible for assessing eDiscovery requirements and providing consultation in all phases of litigation, while assisting the Litigation Group with creating and managing eDiscovery plans.

The eDiscovery Advisor will assist in providing recommendations to the Litigation Group on best practices, and developing eDiscovery plans, budgets and case documentation. Tasks will include the development of eDiscovery plans that include early case assessment, data source and custodian identification, data analytics, data preservation, data collection independently and through coordination of external and internal resources, data processing, and document review and production strategies. The eDiscovery Advisor will also assist in the development and implementation of eDiscovery policies, procedures and workflows across McKesson.

Additionally, this position will require collaboration and coordination with the eDiscovery team, in-house legal teams, outside counsel, vendors and internal business clients. The eDiscovery Advisor will collaborate with IT staff on the maintenance and administration of all current and future McKesson eDiscovery tools.

Ability to comprehend and explain technical concepts, strong organization skills and research experience are highly desired. Knowledge of technology, litigation concepts, document review/ management platforms, common data sources and file types are also a major plus. This position offers ample opportunities for advanced training and certifications in the areas of eDiscovery and technology.

Position Description

The Privacy Director will report to the McKesson Specialty Health Chief Compliance Officer and lead key initiatives and activities related to the development and implementation of privacy training, procedures, monitoring, controls, risk mitigation planning and other privacy program elements within McKesson Specialty Health, in compliance with relevant privacy laws and McKesson's information privacy practices. This experienced privacy professional must be able to think strategically, execute tactically and build relationships with business partners in a collaborative environment.

The Privacy Director also will work closely with the Global Privacy Office, Global Compliance and Ethics, Records and Information Management, Information Security Risk Management, the Law department, Human Resources, other privacy resources across the company, and other internal risk assessing organizations and corporate functions, to address privacy issues within McKesson Specialty Health.

The Privacy Director will operate under minimal supervision while serving as key resource to the business. The Director will take initiative to lead projects and provide support to key stakeholders in developing the McKesson Specialty Health privacy program. Additionally, the Privacy Director will be responsible for:

Leading the development and communication of privacy procedures, guidelines and training in coordination with Global Compliance and Ethics, the Global Privacy Office, and legal counsel.

- Understanding and incorporating new regulatory requirements, as appropriate, into McKesson Specialty Health's privacy program with assistance from legal counsel, the Global Privacy Office and the McKesson Specialty Health Chief Compliance Officer.

- Performing initial and periodic privacy risk assessments and conducting ongoing compliance monitoring activities, and supporting relevant departments (e.g. IT Management, Global Privacy Office, Human Resources, product and service development, etc.) and corporate initiatives in establishing/improving privacy processes resulting from risk assessment and monitoring activities.

- Working with legal counsel and the McKesson Specialty Health Chief Compliance Officer to ensure McKesson Specialty Health has and maintains appropriate privacy and confidentiality consent, information notices, and training and other materials reflecting current organization and legal practices and requirements.

- Ensuring compliance with privacy practices and consistent application of sanctions for failure to comply with privacy policies for McKesson's workforce, in cooperation with other departments as applicable.

- Serving as a privacy subject matter expert and providing guidance and advice within McKesson Specialty Health.

- Working with key partners to ensure coordination of activities and alignment between security and privacy programs, particularly around data incidents involving personal information.

- Managing the process for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and taking action on complaints concerning McKesson Specialty Health's privacy policies and procedures in coordination and collaboration with other similar functions and, when necessary, legal counsel.

- Leading the creation and delivery of initial and periodic privacy-related orientation and education to McKesson Specialty Health employees, workforce, and appropriate third parties.

- Participating in investigations of potential privacy violations by employees or other inappropriate conduct with respect to corporate privacy policies, as needed.

- Assisting with privacy incident handling, potentially including incident investigation, tracking and coordinating.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required.
