Manager, Nursing Solutions

The manager for clinical services implementations will be responsible for Horizon Nursing Solutions. Current Need

Implementation Consultant to join the Paragon implementation services team. Functional area will be CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry). Will plan, conduct and direct the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Will partner with users to identify, evaluate and develop systems and future state processes which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Will train super users on application functionality and build, oversee completion of the build, ensure readiness for integrated testing and go live.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Under general supervision, conducts Good Clinical Practice (GGP) audit process and support for compliance with US GCP regulations and guidelines and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines. Position Description

As a certified medical coder with McKesson, you will be responsible for coding E/M cases (physician visits) using CPT4 and ICD-9 and knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy. Specifically, you will:

Minimum Requirements

In addition, this position is responsible for engaging hospitals and practices in discussions that could lead to potential contractual relationships with MSH which includes engaging Presidents, CEO's and others in conversations and negotiations.

Position Description

The person in this role shall be responsible for Executive Directors that personally sit on various committees designed by the hospitals and MSH to help oversee their oncology programs. It is the expectation that the Vice President of Hospital Relations, along with the Senior Vice President of Hospital Strategy and the Vice President of Hospital Development, sit on the Advisory Boards of the organizations that have such a structure in place. The Vice President of Hospital Relations shall work very closely with the Senior Vice President of Hospital Strategy and the Vice President of Development in the development of products and services, but more importantly, the ability to take those developed products and services and deploy and integrate them into the hospitals that have contracted with MSH. This could encompass hospital inpatient settings, hospital outpatient settings, along with physician practices. This position will need to develop a breath and depth of resources and infrastructure needed to accomplish the goals set out by MSH to make this a flourishing and prosperous business unit for MSH. This position is responsible for developing the tools and measurements to show and demonstrate progress and success and be able to articulate the results to senior leadership of MSH and McKesson Corporation. This role will provide the leadership required to develop and manage the hospital related portfolio that will create a more robust, efficient, flexible and capable future state for MSH. To accomplish this, further development of the people in the hospital organizational structure and other related areas is critical to the success of this role. This role also develops the pipeline for new business opportunities.

This is a vital leadership role that encompasses the following key areas:

- Product Integration and Deployment- This role is responsible for the deployment and integration of products and services into the clinical setting of the hospitals and physician practices, but may assist in the design and development of products and services that relate to hospital oncology programs, inpatient and outpatient, along with physician practices.

- Hospital Relationships - This role is responsible for ensuring that MSH carries out the functions it is contractually obligated to do and be able to bring value to the organizations. This includes oversight of the Executive Directors that will have first line relationships with the hospitals. Also included is the confidence, knowledge and ability to engage hospital and physician executives in discussions about potential relationships.

- Outcome Reporting - The leader in this position shall work and develop tools and measurements that demonstrate progress and success and can articulate in a meaningful way to senior leadership of MSH and McKesson Corporation.

- Infrastructure Development- Develops infrastructure and resources to deploy developed hospital/practice integration programs. This may come from leveraging internal resources or developing new resources that are not otherwise available.

Thiss role must establish the mechanisms to measure success which includes ability to articulate the services offered, how the programs will be deployed and associated timelines, impact or importance of the of the programs to the clients, ability to identify resources needed for each client, etc. It is critical to establish a service delivery mindset and the resulting organization to deliver.

This role will be responsible for successfully executing technically complex projects across the health care organizations and internal MSH divisions that require strong leadership, collaboration, and change management.

This position shall begin with a hospital relations team but works closely with others as articulated above. As new products and services are developed and rolled out, this position will be responsible for a number of team members that are geographically dispersed around the country. This position will travel extensively and could serve as backup to other key leadership positions that interface with executive leaders throughout MSH and McKesson Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develops relationships with hospitals that have existing contracts as a member of the Advisory Board (if structured) and works to engage others in potentially new contracts.

- Establish an effective organization to operate the core infrastructure of the organization, and implement ongoing talent review and career development processes.

- Performs day to day management functions with team and business unit.

- Determine the appropriate operational measurements and track accordingly to agreed-upon service levels.

- Establish pricing for products and services.

Minimum Requirements

- Must have 15+ years of progressive health care experience within a hospital that demonstrates leadership authority.

- Project management is critical to drive initiatives and maintain timeline.

- Demonstration of ability to lead and hold people accountable.

- Travel will be required 25%-50% of time in order to visit company locations, visit and ensure success by business team members and understand customer needs.

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for employee supervision and workflow management of a 15+ employee department within a large multi-specialty physician billing processing center.

Position will supervise and coordinate all Accounts Receivable functions and staff, reviewing and responding to quality and productivity results.

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years supervisory experience, strong analytical skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Full Healthcare Revenue Cycle knowledge including Billing, Accounts Receivables, Collections, Denials and Coding is required.

Physician Billing background required with a strong knowledge of governmental and commercial payors.

Candidates should have experience in a fast paced, high volume practice with practice management or 3rd party billing experience.

Education

Implementation Consultant to join the Paragon team. Will plan, conduct and direct the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Will partner with users to identify, evaluate and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of building an integrated HIS.. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Position focused on installing Paragon Registration, Patient Management and Claims Administrator. These Paragon modules are used in acute care patient registration, patient financial services (business office) and claims processing.

Minimum Requirements

4+ years experience in clinical/healthcare field, computer applications, or business analysis.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Conduct onsite setup, education, consulting and support for the Implementation of Paragon Products from kick-off to go-live. Experience working in a hospital's Registration, Billing and Claims Processing departments preferred. Relevant application installation experience are a plus.
