Our entire team works to ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and begin the process of healing.<br/><br/>Current Need<br/><br/>McKesson Health Mart is in search of a Senior Director of Franchise Operations who will be responsible for developing operational strategies and programs while managing regional strategies to help the Heath Mart chain achieve successful business results. The Senior Director will be responsible for ensuring the performance and effectiveness of the Regional Franchise Directors and their respective regional sales team on Health Mart initiatives. The Senior Director will ensure program development and execution by leading strategies for Health Mart training and execution support for regional sales teams. The Senior Director is a pharmacist who has responsibility for ensuring that best practices are created for the franchise that meet all legal and professional requirements. This knowledge/skill is critical as we support our customer's prescription business which comprises well more than 90% of total store volume in most locations.<br/><br/>Position Description<br/><br/>The Senior Director will be a conduit of Health Mart information to and from the RFD's and regional sales teams and Health Mart leadership. The Senior Director will develop the RFD's ability to collaborate, influence, and communicate effectively with his regional partners and customers. The Senior Director will collaborate with individuals from other departments and business units and have an excellent understanding of retail pharmacy operations, state laws, professional/legal regulations and the independent pharmacy market. <br><br/>- 60% - Provide strategic and team leadership to drive the day-to-day management of Health Mart pharmacies/drug stores.<br><br/>o Drive financial and operational benefits of enrollment; <br><br/>o Work with the VP of HM Operations and the Director of HM Training and Professional Services to:<br><br/>- Develop operational best practices, management programs and policies that will be implemented and executed in all Health Mart locations. <br><br/>- Ensure all programs adequately consider and meet/exceed professional and legal requirements associated with operating a pharmacy within a retail drug store. <br><br/>- Collaborate with other HM leaders in Marketing, AccessHealth, Human Resources, Business Development, Legal, Sales Effectiveness, Field Operations and other McKesson business units to create appropriate programs and best practices to improve store execution and results. <br><br/>- Collaborate with McKesson Public Affairs, Legal and Regulatory departments, State Boards of Pharmacy and State Pharmacy Associations to ensure understanding of compliance standards to enable Health Mart to provide guidance to franchisees on compliance with federal and state pharmacy guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, FWA, CSMP). Our entire team works to ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and begin the process of healing.<br/><br/>Position Description<br/><br/>This position will have the overall responsibility for production scheduling, labor management analysis, slot information and transportation management, computer room activities and workforce management systems. In this role, the Planning Supervisor is responsible for production scheduling and balancing to meet daily service throughput and productivity objectives.<br/><br/>The position will communicate daily with Operations Management to ensure specific needs are addressed.<br/><br/>*Develop short and long-range staffing plans based on productivity objectives and forecasted volume requirements and make recommendations to the Operations Team.<br><br/>*Develop, manage and monitor performance reporting on quality productivity and cost and make recommendations to the Operations Team.<br><br/>*Recruit, develop and retain planning and administration team.<br><br/>*Develop, analyze and recommend strategic and tactical operational and systemic improvements to meet current and future service, throughput and cost objectives.<br><br/>*Monitor DC's performance to schedule and forecast to actual and report to management team for continuous improvement opportunities.<br><br/>*Maintain systems and databases in an accurate and timely manner as well as track activities and generate metrics to manage the process.<br><br/>*Communicate and collaborate effectively with transportation, inventory, and operations teams to meet and exceed the goals of the facility.<br><br/>*Prepare daily, weekly and monthly status reports.<br><br/>*Work with inbound transportation providers to schedule and plan work activities accordingly.<br><br/>*Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. <br><br/>*Monitors and analyzes costs and participates in budget discussions.<br><br/>*Other duties as assigned.<br/><br/>Minimum Requirements<br/><br/>4 year degree or equivalent experience<br/><br/>Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.<br><br/>Schedule will rotate between nights and days to provide cross-training.<br/><br/>2+ years product control experience<br/><br/>Demonstrated leadership skills<br/><br/>Additional Knowledge & Skills<br/><br/>Very thorough knowledge of Operations management.<br><br/>Excellent organizational skills.<br><br/>Extensive knowledge of product flow through the distribution center and impact of bottlenecks.<br><br/>Experienced in a high transaction customer sensitive environment.<br/><br/>Ability to coordinate with multiple functional departments. <br><br/>Extensive knowledge of data mining with multiple platforms.<br><br/>Ability to multitask.<br><br/>High proficiency with AS400, Manhattan WMS, or similar WMS.<br><br/>Good mathematical/analytical skills.<br><br/>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including database management.<br><br/>Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.<br/><br/>Education<br/><br/>4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience<br/><br/>Physical Requirements<br/><br/>General Office Demands<br/><br/>Benefits & Company Statement<br/><br/>We believe you should be rewarded for the important work you do. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may supervise the activities of other nonexempt personnel or members of a work team. May coach, train, or lead the activities of other nonexempt personnel and often operates in a work team environment.<br/><br/>Responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of Klockner thermoforming blister lines and associated equipment Will interface with the purchasing department to requisition repair parts and operating supplies. Responsible for all record keeping associated with both the maintenance and the production of the blister line. Responsible for testing and developing set-up parameters for new materials and tooling.<br/><br/>Position Description<br/><br/>Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. May use programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. May work with engineers in conducting experiments.<br/><br/>Minimum Requirements<br/><br/>5+ years technical and manufacturing experience<br/><br/>Additional Knowledge & Skills<br/><br/>Complex, advanced skills in the use of precision electronic and electromechanical testing and measuring instruments and equipment and the ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, complicated blueprints or drawings, handbook formulas, and advanced mathematics. Thorough knowledge of soldering methods, use of meters and test equipment.<br/><br/>Education<br/><br/>HS Diploma, AA degree in Electronics Technology Trade knowledge equivalent to training received in a formal registered apprentice program is preferred.<br/><br/>Physical Requirements<br/><br/>Must be able to stand for an extended period of time. Requires good manual dexterity, and reaching and turning of upper body. Must be able to lift and carry short distances at least 50 pounds.<br/><br/>Monday - Thursday 4:15pm - 2:45am.
