Point person for supplier issues for purchasing, accounts payables, business information systems and EDI. Collaborate with other McKesson purchasing teams (Fee for Service, Product Mgmt, etc.) to enable McKesson to maximize inventory-buying opportunities to achieve EBIT and ROCC. Organize supplier meetings to address operational issues, review and update supplier scorecards, and follow up on issues and actions that have been identified. Meet or exceed defined service levels that directly influence the department¿s achievement of targeted financial goals. Direct and manage the activities of Buyers and Expediters with overall responsibility for planning, budgeting, and managing employee work efforts. <br><br/>Team with the Vice President and Sr. Director of Supply Chain Services to develop goals, objectives and measurements for department performance, to ensure alignment with the Pharmaceutical strategic business goals. <br><br/>Prioritize work efforts to focus on highest value-added activities. Point person for escalated issues with supplier, service levels, inventory levels, etc. Proactively analyze and intercede in supplier relationships and the comprehensive buying process. <br><br/>Continually enhance and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, and monitor supplier scorecard information and negotiate business changes as needed. Coordinate multifunctional supplier meetings to update scorecards, develop actions and follow up on actions. <br><br/>Coach and develop staff in order to maintain a productive and motivated workforce.
