The focus of this new role will shift from data entry, basic research and individual exception resolution to a role that focuses on trending and financial analysis and eliminating root cause of defects.<br/><br/>This will require higher level competencies including analytics, communication, basic understanding of financial and accounting controls.<br/><br/>Key New Responsibilities<br/><br/>1. It is responsible for the development and implementation strategy for the management and accounting of the company¿s fixed assets. Manage and maintain relationships with officials representing various regulatory agencies that have jurisdiction over DC's in the regions. Conduct site visits and due diligence inspections of customer sites as required to ensure against drug diversion. Ensure that audit objectives are accomplished, appropriate documentation is provided and timelines are achievable. <br><br/>Prepare quarterly external audit reports.<br/><br/>Business Analysis <br><br/>Read and interpret customer contracts and supply agreements to ensure accordance with Company policies and accurate financial recording of transactions. <br><br/>Participate in the identification, development and improvement of department metrics to establish a baseline for performance. <br><br/>Special projects and analysis/ad hoc reporting as required.<br/><br/>Minimum Requirements<br/><br/>5+ years accounting experience (month end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition, prepaids, reclasses, etc.) and experience in one of the following areas: internal controls, audit, and/or SOX.
