Position Description
- Lead the Finance function responsible for the Accounting and Finance support for McKesson¿s Corporate HR and Corporate Legal groups
- Direct the budgeting and forecasting for the Corporate Human Resources and Legal functions. This may include, but not limited to, understanding new services and projecting expenses.
- Oversee the monthly financial close for Corporate HR and Corporate Legal
- Actively partner with business executives to better understand their organizational strategies and aligns the development of financial planning analytics that provide proper data sources to control funds and make informed decisions.
- Work collaboratively across the enterprise to communicate forecasts and variances that impact our business unit results.
- Provide financial and integration support as needed in response to the Company¿s M&A activity.
- Oversees that financial planning and analytical operations are aligned with fiscal operating policies and procedures.
- Directs staff of financial managers and professionals and is accountable for developing departmental plans, including business and organizational priorities.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years finance or accounting experience including 5+ years managerial experience.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- MBA highly preferred.
- CPA a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a large, decentralized, diverse organization.
- Ability to collaborate and influence across the business unit finance network to drive understanding and alignment as needed.
- Proven track record of providing creative solutions to business needs and openness to new ways of doing business.
- Project planning experience.
- Ability to travel < 25% of the time.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or other related field required.
