HR Business Partner

Our specialty pharmaceutical programs offer a significant impact for our customers and their businesses. The Distribution Services segment of our company is dedicated to the wholesale distribution of specialty pharmaceuticals - focusing on oncology and other specialty products. Our Specialty Patient Services group provides compliance and adherence programs, as well as reimbursement hotlines, patient assistance and support programs and the managed distribution of pharmaceutical products. Our Specialty Solution Center is the largest single-site call center in healthcare, offering a centralized approach to optimize manufacturer product reimbursement and access. Our US Oncology operations unite one of the nation's largest health-care services network devoted exclusively to cancer treatment and research, and is a pioneer in community-based cancer care. Annually, the united network of more than 9,000 physicians, clinicians, nurses, and administrators delivers integrated cancer care to more than 850,000 cancer patients in community-based clinics located in 41 states.

Current Need

The HR Business Partner is a progressive HR professional who serves as a business partner to clients and provides a broad range of strategic HR services, leadership, change management and organizational development consulting expertise to multiple diverse client groups regarding key business issues. The individual must operate as a strong team player, leveraging relationship skills and business expertise. The HRBP will develop strong working relationships, take a consultative approach and act as a key advisor to members of the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
-The HRBP consults with leaders to provide customized and practical HR solutions to challenges across a range of HR functions including talent management (workforce planning, development, retention, assessment, career architecting and succession), organization design and effectiveness, engagement and culture, and diversity.

-Researches best practices and provides strategic recommendations based on data analysis and
incorporation of metrics to measure outcomes.

-Coaches managers to enhance leadership abilities, relationships among teams/individuals, interpersonal communications and performance management.

-Partners with appropriate centers of excellence to provide a full range of HR services in the areas of staffing, employee relations, compensation, and leadership and employee development.

-Ensures the consistent application of HR policies, processes and systems within the groups they support.

-Develop and maintain productive client relationships with senior business managers

-Surface employee capability gaps and utilize in-depth analytical skills to review workforce data and plans in order to create action plans in conjunction with leadership team, recommending appropriate development activities/training

-Support development, creation and implementation of HR projects, programs and specific business area initiatives (creating engagement plans, talent review process, focal review)

-Demonstrated strategic, critical, analytical and innovative thinking skills
-Experience diagnosing people (individuals/teams) issues and recommending interventions
-Change management experience
-Exceptional communication skills, ability to influence all levels in the organization
-Strong consulting skills
-Complete understanding of state and federal employment laws
-Strong business and financial acumen

Minimum Requirements

BA plus 2 years HR experience or Masters and one year human resources experience.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

-Experience leading complex projects and initiatives
-Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to influence employees and managers at all levels in the organization including coaching and influencing senior business leaders
-Organizational Development/Effectiveness experience a plus
-Demonstrated analytical skills with experience developing and/or tracking HR metrics
-Experience in a large, complex organization preferred
-Self-starter with superb follow up and attention to detail
-Ability to investigate and solve a variety of issues by employing considerable judgment, initiative and consistent follow up for complete and quick resolution
-Cross-team collaboration

Education

4-year degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
