<title><![CDATA[Inside Sales Account Management and Business Development - (FARMINGTON, Connecticut)]]></title>

By supplying quality, innovative products, programs and ideas to medical professionals and organizations, our team helps improve the health and care of people across the country.<br/><br/>Current Need<br/><br/>This position is responsible for the sale of medical supplies and equipment in a specified territory within an assigned market (EMS, Podiatry, etc). The Telesales Rep will grow assigned accounts above base sales activity in order to maximize revenue from each assigned account and prospect for new business for the company.<br/><br/>Position Description<br/><br/>Responsible for the sale of certain products or services. Duties involve direct one-to-one communication with customer or client. Performs field promotion work and develops new accounts. Demonstrates products and/ or services and provides assistance in the best application of product or services. Answers all questions concerning products or services and refers questions as necessary. May coordinate company product support (including technical engineering support) and services to ascertain customer's needs. May close transactions and take orders. May estimate time and sales expenses expected and submit to management. Investigates product/service warranty claims to ensure resolution within marketing policies. May analyze records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. Interprets accounts, trends, and records to management. Sells to new and present clients. Contacts prospects and explains features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.<br/><br/>Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: <br><br/>* Contact, qualify and develop on-going relationships with assigned accounts in order to dramatically increase the sales volume for territory. <br><br/>* Position requires a minimum of 3+ hours daily, on the telephone conducting customer calls. This does not include internal calls required to conduct business (i.e., credit, regulatory, customer relations). After hour access to the system will be available to cover all time zones. Internet communication and web ordering is also highly recommend to maximize communication time with the customer base. <br><br/>* Develops account strategies, territory planning and administrative follow-up to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets; closing the sale and uncovering new business opportunities within the assigned territory. <br><br/>* Stays informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers. Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of retaining and growing their accounts. Builds and maintains strong customer relationships, while increasing sales and maximizing gross profit, meeting assigned sales and gross profit growth objectives. <br><br/>* Compiles and maintains a detailed, customer database for assigned accounts using Goldmine (customer relationship management system). <br><br/>* Coordinates, where appropriate, the resolution of account issues to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction to maximize gross profit and sales growth. <br><br/>* Interface with the marketing team to create and implement specific programs and customized marketing materials for each account as needed. <br><br/>* Support company-wide marketing and sales initiatives by providing industry market and product trends, sales data, competitor analyses, sales materials and account/customer feedback to the respective market manager.<br/><br/>Minimum Requirements<br/><br/>2+ years sales experience.<br/><br/>Additional Knowledge & Skills<br/><br/>1)Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and presentation), including cold calling, negotiation and closing skills. <br><br/>2)Aggressive self-starter with a passion for sales and the demonstrated ability to present ideas, gain acceptance, accountable, hunter mentality, and build strong customer relationships <br><br/>3)Demonstrated experience handling multiple priorities and a complex workload <br><br/>4)Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, negotiation & conflict resolution <br><br/>5)Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management system (Goldmine, ACT, etc.) and MS Office proficiency.<br/><br/>Education<br/><br/>4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.<br/><br/>Benefits & Company Statement<br/><br/>We believe you should be rewarded for the important work you do.
