Position Description
- Develop and lead internal information technology audits and special projects.
- Audit the financial and operating systems processes for information integrity of transaction documents and report discrepancies.
- Must be able to plan, execute, deliver and effectively collaborate on integrated audits with financial/operational audit teams.
- Act as IT audit subject matter expert for the Financial and Operational audit teams.
- Must be able to liaise with both Business Unit and IT Executive Management.
- Act as Liaison between the company and any external audit personnel and work with management in all areas to define the audit function as it relates to overall business activities.
- Prepare audit plans and understand the specific issues to be evaluated.
- Work on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors.
- Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
- Ensure that audit issues are well defined and root causes are identified. Utilize problem solving skills to add value to areas audited.
- Develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and make recommendations as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
2+ years of progressive experience in a Big 4 Professional Services Information Systems Audit capacity.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Auditing policies, practices and systems; with specific experience in large-scale deployments of SAP, JD Edwards World, OneWorld / EnterpriseOne, Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Financial Management; plus experience in auditing Windows Unix, AS/400, and Mainframe RACF operating systems, advanced SQL Server and Oracle databases, and network security.
- IT audit skills including experience with pre and post system implementation reviews, internal readiness assessments, project management skills, knowledge of general computer and application controls.
- Business process analysis skills, with proven experience in performing assessments for the revenue, payroll, expenditure, inventory, and financial statement close processes in a manufacturing and/or healthcare services setting.
- Segregation of duties analysis and CGI analysis for applications within various business cycles and general computer control environments.
Education
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
Certifications/Licensure
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation.
Physical Requirements
- General office demands.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
