<title><![CDATA[Collections Supervisor - (Moorestown, New Jersey)]]></title>

This comprehensive approach has earned us our reputation for pioneering programs that are delivered with care and dedication, one patient at a time.<br/><br/>Current Need<br/><br/>Our Sterling Medical Business unit is in need of a strong supervisor to oversee the collections group. Must be able to effectively and diplomatically deal with a wide range of employees and personalities. Team building and conflict resolution skills are preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to other parts of the business (sales, customer service, etc.) are a must.<br/><br/>Position Description<br/><br/>The Collections Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of 10-12 collectors in the daily management of high volume collections on Medicare and Medicaid claims. This includes managing the work flow queue, performance reviews, managing the collections floor, ensuring the workload is balanced, training, developing and motivating the team.<br/><br/>Responsible for managing the activities of credit approval and credit collection. Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies. Recommends credit limits, handles special credit arrangements, and problem collection accounts. Oversees analysis of accounts receivable, aging of accounts to determine overdue accounts, and collection procedures.<br/><br/>Minimum Requirements<br/><br/>2+ years credit and/or collections experience. Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and insurance claims required. Successful experience supervising a team required.<br/><br/>Additional Knowledge & Skills<br/><br/>Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and insurance billing requirements.<br><br/>Effective time management and organizational skills required.<br><br/>Must be able to effectively communicate with external and internal customers.<br><br/>Must be able to provide direction and ensure productivity requirements are met or exceeded.<br/><br/>Education<br/><br/>2-year degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience<br/><br/>Physical Requirements<br/><br/>General Office Demands.
