Medical Reimbursement Analyst Physician Billing

Position Description
We are currently seeking a Reimbursement Analyst in our Newark, NJ location for a high profile, professional level position. In this role, we are seeking someone who can:
- work with high level physician in a fast paced environment
- work with patients and insurance companies to obtain surgical authorizations
- work appeals and negotiations with insurance companies
- conduct financial reviews with patients
- work with billing and AR from a high level
Minimum Requirements
This position will require:
- Strong Coding background (CPC, RHIA preferred)
- Strong medical billing background
- Background with AR follow-up
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of MS Office, Excel
- Good communication skills
- High level of insurance billing experience
- At least 5 years of experience
-Experience with pre and post negotiations and appeals is required
The following skills are a plus:
- Supervisory or Management experience in medical practice environment
-Orthopedic billing a plus, but not required
