Our IT segment provides service and support for more than 2,400 systems in independent, chain, hospital, clinic and nursing-home pharmacies across the country. We work hard so that pharmacists can spend their time on patients - not paperwork. Our Center for Financial Services plays a critical role in ensuring that hospitals, pharmacies and retail chains receive pharmaceutical products quickly - usually within 24 hours. Our entire team works to ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and begin the process of healing.
Position Description
Serves as the primary point of contact and liaison between the NRDC, the McKesson Buying Center, McKesson Corporate offices, and the manufacturers served by this facility with respect to operations. Key to this position is understanding the Logistics and Supply Chain Headquarters' value proposition and communicating it to potential suppliers and customers.
This role is the main point of contact for vendor communications, problem solving, and escalation for day-to-day issues regarding vendor shipments, EDI, product pedigree, and all other items.
Minimum Requirements
Business Experience
10 plus years experience in operations, distribution and sales
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
Candidate must have an expert level understanding and knowledge of the wholesale pharmaceutical distribution industry, contact administration processes, logistics, and supply chain.
Highly developed negotiations and presentation skills
Highly developed interpersonal, relationship and communications skills
Communication skills should include developing and leading presentations that explain complex business models and value propositions. This level of communication includes senior and executive level management.
Strong understanding of financial dynamics and contract requirements
Strong technical ability
Education
4-year degree in related field. Advanced degree preferred.
