Current Need

The Technical Trainer will provide expert product-specific training to external customers and/or employees on features and operation of all McKesson Automation, Inc. (MAI) products.

Position Description

- Deliver high-quality and effective training that adheres to training industry and MAI training standards. Provide special or customized training when required.

- Partner with the Technical Course Development Team to design and develop product documentation and training tools that meet customer and employee needs. Participate in quality assurance audits to ensure that documentation and training tools are accurate and understandable from a user standpoint.

- Provides guidance to customers on best practices for implementing MAI products.

- Demonstrates good judgment about when to ask for help from senior team members or management about customer issues.

- Identifies customer or internal MAI challenges and proposes possible solutions.

- Collaborates with management and other team members to develop and implement final solutions.

- May provide support and mentoring to less experienced trainers.

Minimum Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years experience in one or more of the following areas: technical or clinical training, healthcare software product implementation and/or support, healthcare IT management, functional healthcare experience, or healthcare IT consulting.

- Working knowledge of MAI products and their workflow in a real-world application preferred, but not required.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

- Working knowledge of software/IT systems

- Working knowledge of technical training

- Working knowledge of healthcare and hospital operations preferred

- Possible relevant functional healthcare certifications (RN, MT, RT, etc.)

The Upgrades Specialist will be responsible for all installation and technical elements of upgrading Connect-Rx and other MAI products at customer sites. - Coordinate hardware/software upgrades with customer sites and project management according to priorities set by Application Release Manager.

- Perform various installation/configuration tasks for PC and server replacement/upgrades, including hard drive replacements, memory upgrades, peripheral device replacements, etc.

- Manage multiple upgrade projects concurrently.

- Provide direction and guidance to secondary upgrade resources used to assist with on-site upgrade deployment.

- Coordinate distribution of software, release notes, project plans and associated product documentation for system-wide software upgrades.

- Troubleshoot level one pre- and post-upgrade challenges including product troubleshooting, verification of software registry, review of appropriate installation files and database logins.

Current Need

The Customer Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical support to our customers and MAH staff on all MAH products. They are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to mechanical failures, computer hardware failures, software failures, network problems and user issues. The ability to determine the root cause of problems requires mechanical, hardware and software knowledge. The analyst must exercise independent judgment to determine the source of the problem and the most appropriate way to resolve. MAH products are in mission critical areas of the hospital. Therefore decisions must be made to assure maximum "uptime" for the equipment.

Position Description

- Answer incoming support requests from internal/external sources to maintain acceptable service levels.

- Monitor the incoming call queue to maintain established service levels.

- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, network, and database issues with all supported versions of MAH products. This involves dialing into customer sites to perform tasks such as (but not limited to): analyzing the performance of the client system and database; reviewing scheduled tasks; and executing various scripts as necessary based on problems encountered.

- Properly document all customer interactions and troubleshooting actions into the department's case tracking system. Utilize prioritization and time management skills. Manage open calls to ensure appropriate resolution time.

- Utilize the department's knowledge base to determine proper troubleshooting course of action.

- Consult with Customer Support Specialists to develop resolutions to software and hardware problems as needed.

- Perform Customer Support Specialist duties when needed in order to maintain proper service levels.

- Proactively identify trends at customer sites with respect to hardware and software that can lead to problems.

- Position requires shift work to provide support on a 24/7 schedule.

Current Need

The Upgrade Project Manager will support the Application Release Management team and will be responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive and repeatable upgrade methodology via a concentrated focus on upgrade planning, delivery, and post-upgrade customer support. These activities cross the entire McKesson Automation product line and multiple software release versions. The position will coordinate all MAI upgrade team resources to ensure a successful implementation of the upgrade and to also manage the customer through all key project milestones. Position Description

- Provide comprehensive project management services and leadership necessary to plan and execute an upgrade deployment strategy for McKesson Automation hardware/software releases.

- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through personal and team performance.

- Facilitate cross-product upgrade issue resolution for all McKesson Automation product lines.

- Work with Account Executives on product and service support issues.

- Coordinate between the customer and the ARM team all requirements necessary for the planning, deployment, and support of the upgrade based upon customer product mix and pre-defined upgrade sales contract.

- Ensure pre-upgrade customer product workflow is maintained / re-established during a stabilization period immediately following the upgrade go-live.

- Document challenges encountered in the upgrade process and define the appropriate action plans to prevent their recurrence. Provide best practice recommendations and share lessons learned.

- Define and maintain all aspects of a repeatable upgrade methodology. Work with appropriate internal teams to provide feedback on the upgrade process, resolution of post-upgrade issues, and technical limitations/improvements, software bugs, enhancements, etc.

- Develop and facilitate post-upgrade customer surveys and related metrics.

- Demonstrates the ICARE Shared Principles.

- Must be fiscally responsible for all business related expenses and able to obtain and maintain a corporate issued credit card.

- May require up to 25% travel to customer sites for kick-off, upgrade planning, and/or post-upgrade support activities.

The Upgrades Specialist will be responsible for all installation and technical elements of upgrading Connect-Rx and other MAI products at customer sites. - Must travel to customer sites approximately 70% of work time.

- Coordinate hardware/software upgrades with customer sites and project management according to priorities set by Application Release Manager.

- Implement hardware/software upgrades, both remotely and on-site at customer facilities. Meet all upgrade downtime requirements.

- Perform various installation/configuration tasks for PC and server replacement/upgrades, including hard drive replacements, memory upgrades, peripheral device replacements, etc.

- Manage multiple upgrade projects concurrently.

- Provide direction and guidance to secondary upgrade resources used to assist with on-site upgrade deployment.

- Coordinate distribution of software, release notes, project plans and associated product documentation for system-wide software upgrades.

Technical Support Engineer

Position Description

Responsible for providing technical, functional, and coding support to customer's product support teams, field engineers or technicians who are diagnosing, troubleshooting and debugging highly technical or sophisticated software or computer systems. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to software engineering/ design engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly or complex or technical in nature.

Minimum Requirements

Entry level experience providing technical support to product support teams, field engineers and technicians.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Prefer Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Experience in the following technologies:J2EE technologies (e.g., JSP, Servlets, JDBC), Java web-based applications; XML, SQL databases, Oracle databases, HTML, CSS and Javascript

Experience with relational databases and querying tools (including PL/SQL)

Experience with Version Control Systems

Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Detailed oriented with an ability to multi-task

Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Ability to set goals and deliver on commitments

Experience presenting information in a client setting

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Self motivated with desire for continuous learning

Knowledge of Healthcare Industry is a plus

Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting software and/or customer service on computer systems.
