Current Need

Director, Marketing - Network Provider Management

Position Description

This is a unique and challenging position with great growth potential. The ideal candidate is both strategic and tactical with well rounded capabilities in technical product marketing, branding, public relations, messaging, and promotion. As Director of Marketing, you will oversee all marketing activities for the Network Performance Management (NPM) product line and be accountable for their successful execution. You will lead the creation and implementation of strategic marketing plans and initiatives to promote the growth and mindshare of NPM products. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can build and nurture a high performance marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

Build and nurture a high performance marketing team 20%

Manage a marketing budget and all related reporting 5%

Create and implement high impact strategic marketing plans and initiatives to drive the growth and promotion of McKesson¿s NPM products and services 20%

Formulate and drive the market positioning of NPM products. Amplify value messaging to prospects, customers, system integrators, strategic partners, and internal audiences 20%

Lead the design and creation of sales collateral and tools 10%

Build and foster relationships with customers to align marketing strategy with their pain points 15%

Manage all marketing relationships including PR agencies, analysts, etc.. 10%

Minimum Requirements

5-10+ years of marketing experience with highly technical products required

4+ years experience marketing software products B2B preferred

Proven competence in the development and management of strategic
product marketing programs required

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required

Experience marketing to the healthcare industry a strong plus

Highly creative self starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment required

Budget management experience in excess of $100,000 preferred

Team player with the ability to work across departments with all level of management and staff required

Analyst (IDC, Gartner) relationship experience a strong plus

Strong business acumen coupled with polished presentation skills required

Strong technical skills with MS Office suite required

Education

Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
