This position will be responsible for managing the day to day aspects of the billing operations ensuring clients are provided the highest degree of accounts receivable cycle management available in the Revenue Cycle Outsourcing industry.<br/><br/>Position Description<br/><br/>Areas of focus will be: <br><br/>- Develop a competent management team to position the office for significant growth.<br><br/>- Lead the office in attaining ongoing client metric, production, financial and other office / corporate goals through the effective management of resources.<br><br/>- Direct, coordinate and evaluate performance of all office functional areas: initiate all corrective actions to improve performance deliverables and/or resolve issues as they arise.<br><br/>- Develop, implement and ensure policies and procedures are followed.<br><br/>- Ensure adherence to all aspects of state, local, and federal Billing Compliance policies.<br><br/>- Maintain and enforce patient / client / employee confidentiality.<br><br/>- Ensure appropriate, timely and accurate information is available for all clients.<br><br/>- Develop expertise regarding clients and their specific needs and requirements.<br><br/>- Interact with clients and client management team to ensure client¿s goals are achieved and/or issues are being timely and appropriately addressed ultimately resulting in customer satisfaction and retention.<br/><br/>This position will initially oversee a staff of over 300 domestic and off-shore employees, with significant growth expectations over the forthcoming years.<br/><br/>Additional Knowledge & Skills<br/><br/>CRITICAL SKILLS:<br><br/>- The successful candidate must have a strong operational understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management with proven verbal and written communication skills. <br><br/>- Must be able to demonstrate superior organizational, management, leadership and problem solving skills. Ideal experience will include a blend of strategic and operational experience with strong customer side exposure specifically in the Revenue Cycle Outsourcing industry. <br><br/>- Proven successful experience leading, coaching, and mentoring management and subordinates in a billing operations environment is required. <br><br/>- Must be well organized, service oriented, energetic, and committed. Ultimately, we're helping the system run smoother so that healthcare works for all of us.<br/><br/>Position Description<br/><br/>The position of Operations Supervisor, Medical Billing has recently become available in our Queensbury, NY office.<br/><br/>The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for employee supervision and workflow management of a 15+ employee department within a large multi-specialty physician billing processing center.<br/><br/>Position will supervise and coordinate all Accounts Receivable functions and staff, reviewing and responding to quality and productivity results.<br/><br/>Minimum Requirements<br/><br/>The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years supervisory experience, strong analytical skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br/><br/>Full Healthcare Revenue Cycle knowledge including Billing, Accounts Receivables, Collections, Denials and Coding is required.<br/><br/>Physician Billing background required with a strong knowledge of governmental and commercial payors.<br/><br/>Candidates should have experience in a fast paced, high volume practice with practice management or 3rd party billing experience.<br/><br/>Education<br/><br/>A high school diploma is required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
