Position Description
The McKesson Finance Rotational Development Program (FRDP) is an exciting two year development program, designed to develop top MBA graduates into future leaders who will make an impact on the future of healthcare.
Working in conjunction with the top finance leaders at McKesson, program associates will explore solutions to some of the fundamental, yet vexing problems of healthcare: increasing complexity, burdensome paperwork, historical inefficiency and poor communication between constituents.
Associates will gain an understanding of the broad scope of McKesson¿s business through multiple business unit rotations and company locations.
The program will enhance personal career development via formal and informal feedback, direct senior leadership engagement and formal training integrated with McKesson¿s Center for Learning. Each rotation will culminate in an opportunity to present results to members of the senior finance leadership group. Regular feedback sessions with rotation managers will allow for a two-way dialogue to maximize performance and growth opportunities.

Program Components:
¿ Two week orientation program at McKesson headquarters in San Francisco, CA
¿ Challenging assignments in a variety of finance functions, potentially including Financial Planning and Analysis, Internal Audit, Strategy, Project Management, and Pricing.
¿ Exposure to and mentoring from business unit CFOs and Vice Presidents within McKesson¿s finance organization
¿ End of rotation presentation to senior finance leaders from across the company
¿ Bi-annual events designed to connect associates across different functional areas throughout McKesson Corp.
¿ Formal leadership training integrated with McKesson¿s Center for Learning - including Greenbelt training with McKesson¿s Six Sigma Organization on a rotation need basis
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
¿ Prior work experience involving finance, accounting, economics, banking or other analytical functions
¿ Flexibility to relocate as necessary during rotational program and/or for first job assignment at the completion of the program. Rotation locations for the program may include Alpharetta, GA, Carrollton (Dallas/Fort Worth), TX, Richmond, VA and San Francisco, CA. Rotational assignments may include up to 50% travel. First job assignment locations will be determined pending business needs.
¿ Strong interest and desire to build organizational talent
¿ Demonstrate strategic and analytical thinking; demonstrate sound judgment and a willingness to result issues and problems in a timely manner
¿ Demonstrate personal commitment and drive to set and then meet or exceed high standards and objectives
¿ Act with integrity in all relationships and issues; understand impact of own behaviors on others
¿ Possess excellent communications skills and have the ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and proposals persuasively
¿ Be in their second year studies in an MBA program
¿ Be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful U.S. permanent resident, a refugee approved for entry into the U.S. or a person who has been granted asylum in the U.S.
Education
MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience
