SAP Business Process Expert Finance

Launch your technology career by joining McKesson's SAP Shared Services Center, which is responsible for all SAP-based services across McKesson. This includes service design, development, enhancements, technical support, operational support, and SAP end-user support. The SAP Shared Service Center is highly coordinated with the Strategic Sourcing and Projects organization to deliver key strategic SAP initiatives.

Current Need

As the McKesson IT knowledge leader of Finance business process and supporting SAP technologies, provide technical thought leadership in support of McKesson business objectives
-Advise Business Service Management and the business to define optimal SAP-based solutions that effectively and efficiently support McKesson business processes
-Consult with SAP Scrum, Advance Business Support and Capability Teams to define, design and execute solutions that meet technical service requirements
-Partner with BSM Business Service Owners, SAP Technical Service Owners, SAP architecture and Service Innovation to develop SAP technical service roadmaps, incorporating both current and future SAP capabilities
-Drive internal process maturity of the SAP Shared Service delivery organization
-Leverage your consulting or other large company process experience to better match potential SAP service offerings to McKesson business problems and challenges

Position Description

1. Advise Business Service Management and the business to define optimal SAP-based solutions that effectively and efficiently support McKesson business processes (40%)
2. Consult with SAP Scrum, Advance Business Support and Capability Teams to define, design and execute solutions that meet technical service requirements (40%)
3. Partner with BSM Business Service Owners, SAP Technical Service Owners, SAP architecture and Service Innovation to develop SAP technical service roadmaps, incorporating both current and future SAP capabilities (20%)

Minimum Requirements

6+ years specific systems experience including 5+ years managerial experience

Additional Knowledge & Skills

-10+ years professional experience in functional or technical position
-7+ years in a similar service role, e.g., architect, strategist, consultant, designer in an SAP implementation environment.
-Managed or led a team in a variety of SAP implementations through all phases of a development lifecycle
-Successful prior demonstration of productive business partner and supplier interactions and relationships
-Ability to work in a team environment and synthesize feedback from all levels within the business and technical environments
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex technical environment
-Ability to quickly adapt to changes related to timelines.
-Ability to learn new processes and related technologies quickly.
-Broad and deep understanding of the Finance and Accounting business process
-Expert-level knowledge of all core SAP Financials and Controlling technologies with specific expertise in the CO-CCA, CO-PA, AP, AR, and GL modules.
-Solid configuration, integration or development knowledge of SD and MM modules.
-Broad knowledge of all current SAP solutions and SAP technical direction
-Deep knowledge of Finance-related Business Warehouse (BW) extractors, SAP Business Objects, and/or related BI/reporting processes
Ability to solve complex technical problems and clearly document solutions
-Expert working knowledge of SAP ABAP and all methods of customization.
-Self-starter with ability to independently identify process or project challenges, go after the right issues, and navigate political boundaries with minimal supervision
-Excellent oral communications skills, particularly with executives and key business process owners, to make the case for change and influence others without direct authority
-Familiar with Scrum/ Agile development methods and ITIL v3 service management framework

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
