Current Need
Perform senior-level software development tasks to maintain, enhance, design, test, and document software applications in support of Generics and Procurement Services.
Position Description
Responsible for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of local, network or internet-related computer programs for commercial or end user applications such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or desktop applications products. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Minimum Requirements
4+ years experience in software engineering
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Minimum 2.5 years of C#/.NET development experience
Thorough knowledge of Web-based, .NET development including HTML/JavaScript
Thorough knowledge/expertise with SQL/SQLServer
Additional Knowledge & Skills (experience in these areas are a plus)
Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008, VS2010, .Net Framework 3.5 - 4.0
Experience with Test Driven Development and Agile
Experience with AJAX Toolkit, Javascript, XML/XSLT
Experience with T SQL, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Reporting Services, as well as basic proficiency in Oracle and DB2 SQL
Experience with Medical Information system
Education
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
Certifications/Licensure
Certifications in MS SQL Server development is a plus but not required
