Receiving Team Lead experienced with a heavy volume of inbound trucks that must be received on arrival.

Position Description

Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Pulls and fills orders. May use (but not limited to) power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, and other devices operated in a warehouse environment. Current Need

This position works closely with sales department and the collectors to prepare new and existing customer credit write-ups for large credit facilities with more complex analysis required. This position will work closely with peer underwriting team members to help mentor associate and junior analysts on larger more complex transactions and negotiation skills. The main goal is to determine credit worthiness while complying with company credit policies in order to provide credit limit and term recommendations as well as proactive suggestions on customer's financial conditions in a brief and concise format under direct supervision from the Assistant Credit Manager.

Minimum Requirements

4+ years credit and/ or collection or related experience

Accounting experience, reading, writing and arithmetic skills. Working knowledge of credit and/ or collection policies, practices and systems, as well as, familiarity with spreadsheet applications.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Prepares detailed credit analysis reports including recommended credit limits typically greater than $1 million dollars in a format prescribed by management. Formal summary analyzes the customer's current and forecasted financial stability and risk and interprets the information provided into a meaningful summary. Provides solid recommendations based on facts to Credit Management for review.

Researches and gathers financial information on customers from all sources available including the sales force, previous payment history, customer supplied data, agency ratings, bank references, internet, and trade references. Works closely with sales force to gather all appropriate information.

Works closely with account set-up staff and sales rep with respect to initial determination of credit limit and terms in order to more efficiently service the needs of existing and new or potential customers. Assists in determining credit limit necessary to fully enable optimum buying while minimizing risk. Also assesses credit worthiness on case by case basis for emergency orders, buy-ins and unusually large orders, etc.

Follows for open credit conditions and ensures UCC filings are maintained to minimize credit risk in the assigned portfolio.

Performs other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum of 3 years experience in credit analysis required. 3-5 years experience in commercial credit analysis preferred.

Position Description

This position will have the overall responsibility for production scheduling, labor management analysis, slot information and transportation management, computer room activities and workforce management systems. In this role, the Planning Supervisor is responsible for production scheduling and balancing to meet daily service throughput and productivity objectives.

The position will communicate daily with Operations Management to ensure specific needs are addressed.

*Develop short and long-range staffing plans based on productivity objectives and forecasted volume requirements and make recommendations to the Operations Team.

*Develop, manage and monitor performance reporting on quality productivity and cost and make recommendations to the Operations Team.

*Recruit, develop and retain planning and administration team.

*Develop, analyze and recommend strategic and tactical operational and systemic improvements to meet current and future service, throughput and cost objectives.

*Monitor DC's performance to schedule and forecast to actual and report to management team for continuous improvement opportunities.

*Maintain systems and databases in an accurate and timely manner as well as track activities and generate metrics to manage the process.

*Communicate and collaborate effectively with transportation, inventory, and operations teams to meet and exceed the goals of the facility.

*Prepare daily, weekly and monthly status reports.

*Work with inbound transportation providers to schedule and plan work activities accordingly.

*Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.

*Monitors and analyzes costs and participates in budget discussions.

*Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

4 year degree or equivalent experience

Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule will rotate between nights and days to provide cross-training.

2+ years product control experience

Demonstrated leadership skills

Very thorough knowledge of Operations management.

Excellent organizational skills.

Extensive knowledge of product flow through the distribution center and impact of bottlenecks.

Experienced in a high transaction customer sensitive environment.

Ability to coordinate with multiple functional departments.

Ability to multitask.

High proficiency with AS400, Manhattan WMS, or similar WMS.

Good mathematical/analytical skills.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including database management.
