This is an executive level role.<br/><br/>This position will directly manage the high volume relationship with a large multiple specialty (Anesthesia, Radiology, Pathology, Laboratory, Emergency Medicine, and Academic) based environment.<br/><br/>This Individual will need previous experience with high level client interaction in a large physician practice environment and a solid understanding of Client Management process and clear understanding of deliverables.<br/><br/>Position Description<br/><br/>The Executive Director of Revenue Cycle Client Management will manage all aspects of the business relationship with clients and McKesson's Client Managers to ensure appropriate services are available, utilized and delivered to provide the highest possible caliber of service to the clients. This position will manage a team of Client Managers.<br/><br/>Leads and provides guidance to team of Client Relationship Specialists to include both non-exempt and exempt level employees.<br/><br/>Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies.<br/><br/>Serves as point of contact for clients of medium to large size, independently providing high level client management services as well as ensuring client access and exposure to specialized financial, reimbursement strategic and information management services.<br/><br/>Regularly conducts client meetings to review accounts receivable performance, payer issues and trends, client's business strategies, and physician compensation plans. Discussions and recommendations are expected to take into consideration the Company's operations, local and national issues and trends as they affect the client and other issues as needed.<br/><br/>Maintains day-to-day relationships with existing clients, medium to large in size, collecting and clarifying information with the client, communicating project or program plans and progress, and answering client questions, all within the Director's area of expertise.<br/><br/>Performs periodic billing audits for assigned clients to ensure that utility files, billing parameters, electronic transmissions, demographic interface tapes, billing and payment tapes, insurance verification interfaces are utilized as appropriate.<br/><br/>Supervises the preparation, analysis and presentation of all Client Management deliverables (including A/R measurement statistics and payer trends, fee schedules, ad hoc financial reports) ensuring their relevancy, accuracy and overall quality. This may require interaction with operations management and third party payers.<br/><br/>Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).<br/><br/>Interacts with senior management.<br/><br/>Minimum Requirements<br/><br/>A minimum of 10 years of applicable work experience in a professional healthcare environment is required.<br/><br/>5 + years healthcare practice management and medical billing experience as well as 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience are required. Multi-Specialty, Anesthesia, Radiology or Pathology billing experience is preferred.<br/><br/>Must have excellent written and verbal communication skill, strong analytical skills for financial and conceptual analysis.<br/><br/>Must have strong negotiation, marketing, and promotional skills.<br/><br/>Must have ability to work independently and as a member of a team.<br/><br/>Must have ability to manage multiple priorities.<br/><br/>Excellent supervisor and interpersonal skills necessary.<br/><br/>PC skills including advanced spreadsheet design and database modeling are a requirement. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required. Utilizes their knowledge of the client/business, healthcare practice management and medical billing process/procedures to maximize performance relative to client relationship, client satisfaction, desired survey results and client/company financial performance indicators.<br/><br/>Minimum Requirements<br/><br/>Minimum of 5 years healthcare practice management and medical billing experience is required. Radiology experience is highly preferred.<br/><br/>Candidates must possess a solid background in all aspects of physician revenue cycle management. Strong reporting and analysis skills are essential.<br/><br/>Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft office products. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required.
