This leadership position will be responsible for multiple clinical solutions and able to drive high levels of client service with positive project outcomes while balancing the operational and business objectives of the business segment. Essential responsibilities include leading implementation consultants and technical implementation engineers in a matrix organization, coordination and management of multiple client project assignments, first tier client management escalation, and business growth & development.<br/><br/>The successful candidate for this high growth opportunity should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and have a demonstrated track record of managing teams to the accomplishment of organizational objectives. The candidate will possess hands-on, growth-oriented, results-driven management level experience. Ultimately, we're helping the system run smoother so that healthcare works for all of us.<br/><br/>Current Need<br/><br/>The position of Physician Executive has recently become available within the Clinical Sales Support Team. The Physician Executive functions as the executive-level clinical liaison responsible for the development of the client partnership, specifically at the physician level in the client organization. Responsibilities also include clinical solution sales support, workflow optimizations, and assisting with customer governance all to ensure customer success. Additionally Physician Executives will provide feedback and input in the development and improvement process for our clinical solutions.<br/><br/>Location: Remote Telecommuter position. Must live close to a major airport and be open to extensive overnight travel.<br/><br/>Position Description<br/><br/>Function as the subject matter expert and executive-level clinical liaison for MPT customers by providing physician and executive level clinical solution optimization support, specifically for workflow, usability and customer governance.<br/><br/>Participate in the sales strategy and execution of the sales strategy in assigned accounts including conducting clinical solution sales demonstrations and providing other clinical sales solution support.<br/><br/>Responsible for on-going education & training of the clinical sales executives and cross business unit training/education/collaboration on the clinical product line.<br/><br/>Provides clinical solution optimization support to assigned MPT customers, specifically for workflow, usability and customer governance.<br/><br/>Participate in the sales strategy and execution of the sales strategy in assigned accounts including product demonstrations and providing other clinical sales solution support.<br/><br/>Provide ongoing education and training of the clinical sales executives and cross business unit training on the clinical product line.<br/><br/>Establish key relationships with clinical leadership at customer site and functions as a trusted advisor to clinicians on assigned accounts. Plays a key role in stabilizing at-risk accounts.<br/><br/>Attend industry meetings representing McKesson in an advisory role. Actively participate in Physician Professional Associations for networking purposes.<br/><br/>Provide clinical support for clinical upgrades and go-lives<br/><br/>Responsible for providing clinical product feedback to the Product Management staff & the R&D organization regarding suggested changes and/or additions that need to be made to the clinical product line.<br/><br/>Minimum Requirements<br/><br/>Business Experience:<br/><br/>Experience with Healthcare Information Systems in a Hospital environment<br/><br/>Experience with McKesson Clinical products a plus<br/><br/>Specialized Knowledge / Skills:<br/><br/>Working knowledge of healthcare information systems<br/><br/>Strong conflict management skills<br/><br/>Proficient at executing when experiencing multiple competing priorities<br/><br/>Strong interpersonal and communication skills<br/><br/>The ability to build relationships across the organization and collaborate as necessary to accomplish goals<br/><br/>Executive-level presentation skills<br/><br/>Maintain SME level industry and product knowledge and inform company of changing market conditions and competitive issues.<br/><br/>General knowledge of Microsoft Office<br/><br/>Education<br/><br/>M.D. or D.O. required<br/><br/>Benefits & Company Statement<br/><br/>We believe you should be rewarded for the important work you do.
