Sr. Implementation Consultant Nursing Solutions

Current Need
- Provide technical and clinical support for the Implementation Services & Upgrades team in the field.
- Troubleshoot advanced issues related to the full suite of Horizon Clinical products.
- Serve as a liaison between the Horizon Clinicals Implementation team and Development. Report functionality requests and defects in the product to R&D, help prioritize the products design for future versions, advise implementation team of latest releases and updates from R&D.
- Participate in pilot activity for new products.
Act as subject matter expert by assisting Upgrades, Services & Sales with workflow and functionality challenges
Position Description
¿ Plans and conducts application related tasks associated with the implementation of McKesson solution sets working with clients and internal resources at the client site or remotely.
¿ Project manages the application tasks associated with the implementation of the business solutions in complex environments assuring the timely and quality completion of the deliverables.
¿ Partners with clients in planning, executing application tasks such as conversions, interfaces, integration, issue resolution, assessment of system environment readiness, installation.
¿ Mentors and provides application assistance to client and internal resources.
¿ Provides recommendations on the process improvements related to implementation processes and leads the efforts to create improvements.
¿ Lead pilot projects; Provide initiative leadership.
¿ Job Knowledge consistent with meeting position expectations; Subject matter expert on required internal tools; some training expertise.
¿ High internal client interaction; Capable of application triage.
¿ Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
¿ Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
¿ Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems.
¿ Works independently with clients to identify and clarify moderately complex to complex business requirements.
¿ Interviews clients, formulates business profile, collaborates with business technicians to research existing business and system processes, plans and conducts requirements workshops, captures business requirements and develops a proposed statement of work.
¿ Develops moderately complex clinical content and software applications and/or new products. Collaborates with architects to propose system solutions, and estimate high level costs.
¿ Presents findings to clients and to project teams.
¿ Consults with project teams during project implementation.
Minimum Requirements
Education/Training ¿
¿ 4-year degree in nursing or healthcare-related field or equivalent experience
Business Experience ¿
¿ 6+ years experience in clinical/healthcare field, computer applications, designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology.
¿ Significant experience in business analysis and definition and deployment of business requirements to information systems.

Education
4-year degree in nursing or healthcare-related field or equivalent experience
