Position Description
The Strategic Business Consultant will work with our Horizon Enterprise Materials Management solution customers and their leadership teams to facilitate the adoption and utilization enhancement within their organization. This role will also provide business and application workflow recommendations and redesign to achieve identified performance targets.
The primary responsibilities and deliverables are:
-Help clients adopt necessary cultural changes to optimize use of supply chain software solutions by focusing on outcomes and value of our solution
-Engage C-suite to determine how supply chain software solutions can support/drive strategic goals
-Facilitate, educate and drive change with clients
-Integrate client strategy with supply chain software solutions assessment and design (e.g. develop supply chain software solutions roadmap)
-Provide supply chain software solutions training surrounding data in McKesson systems
-Leverage healthcare acumen and critical thinking skills to realize supply chain software solutions value for McKesson customers
-Assist with methodology refinement, development of tools and deliverables and participate in collaborative toolset development and expansion
-Develop positive customer relationships with customer staff and executive sponsors while achieving McKesson¿s financial goals
-Accurately forecast utilization
-Provide leadership and mentoring to peers and staff throughout McKesson and participate/lead in evolving education opportunities
-Contribute to body of knowledge by actively participating in the development of the evolving supply chain solutions
-Identify potential up-sell/cross-sell opportunities within each customer
-Maintain strong industry credentials through published works, speaking engagements and/or case study development and apply this knowledge to client strategy consulting
Minimum Requirements
-5+ years with supply chain management applications
-Prior experience in a consulting role
-Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, service management, computer sciences and/or healthcare services or commensurate experience is required
-Healthcare experience required; Supply Chain experience recommended
-Must be willing to travel 80%

-Experience in public speaking and research publication
Education
-Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, service management, computer sciences and/or healthcare services or commensurate experience is required
