Account Executive Enterprise Intelligence Perf Analytics

Current Need
The Performance Initiative sales specialists will work with both internal McKesson contacts and external industry contacts to advance the sales of Performance Benchmarking subscriptions. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of healthcare operations and the strategic application of data within the healthcare organization. The sales specialists must be able to be conversant on these topics at both the business unit decision maker level as well as the c-suite oversight level.
Responsible for the sale of certain products or services. Duties involve direct one-to-one communication with customer or client. Performs field promotion work and develops new accounts. Demonstrates products and/ or services and provides assistance in the best application of product or services. Answers all questions concerning, with appropriate referrals where required. May coordinate company product support (including technical engineering support) and services to ascertain customer's needs. May close transactions and take orders. May estimate time and sales expenses expected and submit to management. Investigates product/service warranty claims to ensure resolution within marketing policies. May analyze records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. Interprets accounts, trends, and records to management. Sells to new and present clients. Contacts prospects and explains feature and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
Territory: Western US
Travel: 50-75%
Location: Remote based - Region to be determined.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Business Experience: 3-5 years healthcare sales experience preferably selling services. Experience working with data and information strategy. Effective experience presenting and interacting with hospital executives in a sales environment.
Education/Training : 4- year degree in business or healthcare management related field or equivalent experience
