EMR (Electronic Medical Record) Sales Executive

Current Need
The position of EMR Sales Executive, within our Physician Solutions Sales Team is responsible for the sales of our Practice Partner EMR and Practice Management Solutions. The EMR Sales Executive demonstrates solutions relating to business aspects of the healthcare market as well as provides input and feedback on product design/testing. The primary responsibilities include product/solution demonstrations, cold calling, presentations, contract negotiations and closing.
Location: Remote/Telecommuter position covering the North Midwest/West Region
Position Description
Using persuasive sales techniques, demonstrate solutions incorporating value statements and benefits to prospective customers.
Call on customers thru self generated leads as well as lead follow-up to sell EMR solutions to 5 doctor practices or larger
Participate in and staff product areas for tradeshows and product fairs.
Present to prospects and prospects management ¿ McKesson solutions
Arrange and conduct site visits, sales calls and pre-demonstration discovery sessions.
Maintain industry and product knowledge, adapting to changes in the market/competition.
Position requires >50% overnight national travel.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years experience in a healthcare setting is required.
Previous EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or Practice Management sales experience is required.
Ability to cold call and qualify leads quickly
Experience in formal presentations.
Sales experience of software and/or technology to physicians offices is preferred
Must be able to work under deadlines and manage several projects simultaneously.
Ability to present concepts and demonstrate software functionality using persuasive sales techniques.
Goal oriented. Must have proven sales track record of achieving sales quotas.
Ability to work well with team members
Education
4-year degree or equivalent experience required
Physical Requirements
Position requires >50% overnight national travel.
