Current Need
MediMart Corporate Accounts Manager ("CAM"), preferably located in Nashville, Atlanta, Orlando or Charlotte to be responsible for driving profitable sales in the small to mid-sized chain space of the Long Term Care market. Territory will include the South and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Position Description
*Attain individual sales objectives.
* Look to further develop current value proposition for MediMart in order to gain new customers from competitors. Primary focus will be on small to mid-size LTC chains.
*Work with LTC Sales Vice Presidents, Corporate Accounts, Region Managers, and Account Managers to penetrate current McKesson wholesale customers and add new customers.
*Understand the Medicare Part B medical policies and MediMart business operations in order to be considered a valued resource by customers and LTC sales group.
*Identify and recommend product extension opportunities. Lead the development of a strategy to expand wound care in the long-term care market.
*Responsible for working cross functionally as needed with the MediMart Operations team, legal, marketing, sales support, pricing, McKesson Brand, accounts receivable, customer systems and operational teams to effectively deliver the MediMart value proposition while maintaining profitability and corporate compliance.
*Develop strategies and coordinate attendance at state and regional trade shows that pertain to MediMart.
*As requested by the VP, provide occasional direction and oversight to the MediMart sales reps.
Responsible for the sale of certain products or services. Duties involve direct one-to-one communication with customer or client. Performs field promotion work and develops new accounts. Demonstrates products and/ or services and provides assistance in the best application of product or services. Answers all questions concerning products or services and refers questions along as necessary. May coordinate company product support (including technical engineering support) and services to ascertain customer's needs. May close transactions and take orders. May estimate time and sales expenses expected and submit to management. Investigates product/service warranty claims to ensure resolution within marketing policies. May analyze records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. Interprets accounts, trends, and records to management. Sells to new and present clients. Contacts prospects and explains features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years selling experience in extended care industry. Successful experience calling on multi-facility long term care customers. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be able to travel 60-75% of the time to include overnight travel. Preferable to be located in Atlanta, Nashville, Orlando or Charlotte.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of Medicare Part B enteral nutrition medical policy strongly preferred. Must possess good communication (verbal and written), strategic thinking, planning, collaboration and execution skills. Ability to sell benefits of services and concepts. Must be able to strategically interact with chain facilities and the C-Suite level.
Education
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements
General Office Demands. Must be able to travel via commercial airline or automobile frequently. Territory includes Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and New York. Must be able to travel throughout the assigned territory. Must be able to safely operate a vehicle. Must be able to operate a laptop computer. Must be able conduct presentations to the C-suite level of multi-chain long term care facilities.
