Managed Services Sales Specialist

Current Need
McKesson's Managed Services sells IT solutions tailored to meet the needs of the Healthcare industry in support of the software products it develops, markets, and sells. As a leader in the market, McKesson has established partnerships with IBM, HP, Dell, EMC, Cisco, and Intel to name a few. As such, you will be selling industry leading solutions with top tier vendors in the market.
Position Description
We are seeking individuals with a proven sales history of selling enterprise IT solutions in medium to large enterprises. Candidates will be responsible for capturing IT spend within a sales region by positioning technology solutions in support of each customer's strategic IT plan. This position is quota carrying, so previous territory development and funnel management experience is necessary in addition to a proven track record of meeting or exceeding plan.
Some responsibilities include:
* Owns the customer relationship for Managed Services within his or her region
* Assists software sales force to sell technology in support of McKesson applications.
* Develops new business and expand existing business in the region.
* Develops long lasting customer relationships to capture account IT spend.
* Together with Technology Sales Engineers and Subject Matter Experts, prepares and presents quotations and contracts that include applicable hardware, services, and support services.
* Participates in IT planning sessions and assists customers in budgeting to develop an account plan for customers in the region.
* Articulates McKesson technology standards and architecture to customers at varying levels of the organization.
* Effectively communicates and negotiates with all levels of the organization including senior executive leadership.
* Prepares monthly sales forecast and revenue projections.
* Develops local vendor sales team relationships in the region to solidify McKesson / Vendor partnerships in the territory.
* Achieves / exceeds monthly sales targets and margin expectations.
* Prepares and develops territory reviews for McKesson leadership.
* Works with leadership to develop programs specific to strategic accounts.
* Deliver accurate solutions that protect both the customer and McKesson interests.

* Critical thinking and decision making skills
* Understanding of host, storage, network, managed services, and communication systems
* Proven track record exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
* Previous healthcare experience or selling into healthcare entities strongly desired
* Previous Oracle / Unix / Linux knowledge desirable
* Previous Storage system knowledge desirable
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, technology or related field OR equivalent work experience
